If your business needs a vehicle for staff, for a visiting executive or for the length of a project, we can arrange it. Tell us what you need and for how long, and we will quote you.
Message us on WhatsApp or send us the details.
Who this is for
Employers bringing someone in. A new manager, a consultant on a contract, a specialist flying in for a fortnight. They need to get around from the day they land, and nobody wants that to be the new arrival’s first problem.
Project and site teams. Construction, energy and infrastructure work runs for seasons rather than days. One vehicle for the site lead, or for whoever on the crew needs one, for as long as the job lasts.
Hotels, resorts and professional firms. Airport runs, errands, moving people between properties, or a car kept available for whoever needs it that week.
Visiting executives. A car waiting at RLB Airport or Port Zante rather than a taxi account and a wait.
How it works
- Tell us how many vehicles, roughly when, and for how long.
- We tell you honestly what we can cover across those dates, and quote you.
- We agree how you want to be invoiced and who the drivers will be.
- Vehicles are collected at Port Zante, RLB Airport or our Basseterre office, or we can discuss delivery.
Every driver needs their own permit
This catches companies out, so it is worth saying plainly. The local driving permit attaches to the person, not to the company and not to the vehicle. Your business cannot hold one on a member of staff’s behalf.
Each person who will drive needs a valid licence from their own country, plus two pieces of identification including a passport. The Inland Revenue Department is specific that company identification cards are not accepted.
The permit costs EC$62.50 for three months, about US$24, or EC$125.00 for one year, about US$46. For anyone on a posting longer than a quarter, the one year permit works out cheaper than renewing. Permits are issued at the Inland Revenue Department and by authorised car rental agencies.
If you are bringing in several people, count the permits into your budget early. Our guide to the temporary driving permit covers the process.
What to tell us when you enquire
The more of this we have up front, the faster you get a real number instead of a conversation.
- How many vehicles, and whether they are needed at the same time
- Start date and roughly how long
- How many people will drive, and whether that changes during the hire
- Where the vehicles need to be collected
- Who we should invoice, and how your business prefers to pay
Questions from businesses
Do you publish corporate rates?
No. We quote against what you actually need, because a car for a month and a crew across a season are different jobs. Send us the details and we will price it.
Can the company be billed rather than the driver?
Tell us how you need to be invoiced when you enquire and we will sort it out with you.
How many vehicles can you cover?
Ask us with your dates. It depends on what else is out that week.
Can more than one person drive the same vehicle?
Yes, as long as each driver is named and holds their own valid permit.
Can you deliver to our office or a site?
Ask us. Collection at Port Zante, RLB Airport and our Basseterre office is free, and anything else we will discuss with you.
Do you do longer arrangements for individual staff?
Yes. See long-term and monthly car rental.
